Four more radiation visits
Friends and Family,
Could you send me your e-mail addresses if I don't already have them? I am at christaandclan@centurytel.net. I am staying in the Boone Hospital Hospice at 573-815-2121. Feel free to call or stop by, 2121 is the room number.
I cannot walk and cannot leave the bed without a nurse bringing a wheelchair. I feel like I'm in prison. I haven't even been able to see my redecorated house and may not even get too. This just really sucks.
Anyway, obviously my prognosis is very poor. I'm not sure what the future holds but my parents are still researching clinical trials for me.
Hopefully, I can chill out some and get back with the program. I don't think this new aggrivating attitude is going to get me very far. Maybe there is a silver lining someone could share.
Cheers and Happy Thoughts,
Christa

I was just thinking about what the silver lining is, and what came to me was something that mom said a while ago: the whole family has come together for you. It's proof that if any one of us gets into more trouble than one can handle, we'll group together to do what we can do for each other.
Few families can say that these days.
There are always silver linings. One is that your children are darling and sweet and your husband and family and friends are looking out for you. Two is that you are doing much better than a week ago when we were out to visit. Three is I heard your kitty, Sedi, can come visit you at the hospital (how cool). Four is mom said you may be able to visit your house for a couple hours. Five is you still get to share your thoughts with us using the blog and internet.
I guess my point is there are many great things that are still going on and you never know what can happen...
We are all thinking of you and miss you.
Remember-smile and your brain will think you are happy :)
Love,
Catha

Sounds like your family has a umbrella held over your head too hon. God bless you. Thats neat that Sedi can come visit you. I know you also want to see what your mom has been up to also. Rest up sweetie for that ride to the house. Your in all my familys prayers.
Christa, just trying to add a comment to your blog for the first time. Hope this works! Gretchen
Christa, how are you doing? I had company over the weekend and was just checking to see if you had wrote again to us. I pray you are doing fine and maybe even had that trip home to check on your moms work.
Hello to Christa's readers. Christa has changed rooms at Boone Hospital. She is now in #5119. She is doing OK. She has been having to deal with some rough bouts of nausea. They moved her to the fifth floor with hopes of increasing her physical thereapy. She would certainly be glad to see you all.
Peace
Marty
Thanks for the update Marty.
Chris, I hope you enjoyed your visit with Sedi kitty at the hospital. It sounds like your kitty missed you the way she was laying with you. I hope you get better every day. Talk to you soon. Keep those nurses on their toes!
Love,
Catha
