Survived Chuck E.!
I suckered out last night and went in with Rowen and Eilish to Elora's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. I ordered a small soda and 50 tokens and let Eilish and Rowen run free. She watched him and basically gave all the tokens to him. He ended up with two Captain Americas with all of his tickets. Eilish is such a good big sister.
Rowen started to melt down, however, when he realized the party was not for him and went over to the other party tables stealing gifts off of their tables. How embarrassing! I've noticed that he's taken to sticking out his tongue at strangers in the supermarket and trying to start stuff with other little boys. He's awfully cute, but I think a good pounding might put him back into his place. Of course, my girls can't do that. Elora got so frustrated with him at home after Chuck E.'s she smacked him on the head. He wasn't even fazed, but she got sent to bed!
Yesterday morning we put Rowen in daycare and ran some errands. I love Rowen, but it was nice to only have to answer a question once. It was also nice to go to Lowes and not have search for him between the boxes on the shelves. And, it was nice to not have to listen to Batman again on the DVD player, though, Beauty and Beast is getting on my nerves too.
I started my day trading career yesterday. I bought a Forbes magazine and listened to Jim Kramer on the radio. Now, if I just had the money and knew how to buy the stocks, I would be on my way. I did find one company to research. A nuclear power plant builder. Green, good for community, not just self, and at under $20 a share, something I could feasibly buy. I guess we'll have to put that new desk to use!
Cheers and Good Health,
Christa

Yep, Chuck E. is notorious for those kid meltdowns and the place seems to affect them for the next day too.
It is always nice to have a break from at least one of our beloved children...thank goodness for that daycare!
Hi Christa,
Just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you. I really like your photos and the wolf painting. Hopefully, you'll be back doing the things you love soon.
