Monday's Lunch

Today was a tough kid day, nothing could keep them from fighting. However, it was a good grown up friend day. I got to got out and have lunch with Ellen, Tom, Rhonda, Callie, Diane, Derald and Carol at Flat Branch. It was so nice to be a part of the team again, even if I wasn't up on all the latest politics.
The rest of the day was laundry and referee-ing. Eilish was at gymnastics, so Elora fought with Rowen about drinks, toys, words, and touching. And they screamed at each other. I didn't help going into a 'roid rage at each shreek. My poor cat, Tiger, kept jumping up in my lap, getting into my face and trying to get me to get a grip. He was rejected and pushed on the floor numerous times. Right now, he's laying next to me, taking a bath enjoying the silence and my attention.
Here are some pics from Chuck E. Cheeses' s during my parents visit. Elora has a party to go to there at 6 tomorrow. I am not sure how I will do it, but I've got to drop her off and not be cajoled into taking her older sister and younger brother in too. I hate that place. I'll have to sleep on it to see what will work.
Cheers and Good Health,
Christa

But Chris, Chuck-E-Cheese is where a kid can be a kid! Actually, I'm not a big fan of that place either; their video games are terrible.
I've never been to a Chucky Cheese, The parents with children I know have. There was'nt a Chucky Cheese when Kandi was small.
Marlis, You were one lucky parent. Actually, it's a video game place for little kids where they stamp you and the little ones when you come in so you can sit and eat and not worry about someone taking off with your kids. Oh, and you can't leave without spending at least $30 and eating disgusting pizza...a little cynical, but ask any parent who goes there, they know the drill!
So I have'nt missed too much?
The full moon seems to affect the kids' behavior and animal too I have noticed.
Just got back from Chuck E. Cheese. I wimped out and stayed so Rowen and Eilish could play. I bought a $1.79 small soda and $10 of tokens (50) and let the non-partiers play. I fed the kids before we went, but they did get some cake (Elora had pizza).
Marlis, the only thing you missed, was not wasting your money. Hopefully, next time you visit, Ian won't bring it up.
Catha, Are you sure it's the moon or the chuck e. cheese pizza?
Of course, that doesn't explain the animals.
Well, Chuck E. Cheese does make kids go crazy, but I thought you had not taken them there yet, so that's why I blamed it on the full moon. Same difference though.
As for the animals, just give them some of that greasy pizza and see what happens. :)
Catha
I too have learned to fill Ian up before ever going to Chucky Cheese. We then get tokens and soda and I let him RUN FREE, I do watch his every move but I just dont hover around him.
The pizza does taste terrible.
Mom, I will let you take Ian to Chucky Cheese someday to get the full experience!
Heee Heeeee
